Examination Process:

The SBI Clerk selection process consists of two stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam: This is an online objective test consisting of three sections:
    • English Language: 30 questions, 20 minutes
    • Numerical Ability: 35 questions, 20 minutes  
    • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 20 minutes  
  2. Main Exam: This is also an online objective test consisting of four sections:
    • General/Financial Awareness: 40 questions, 40 minutes
    • General English: 40 questions, 40 minutes
    • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 45 minutes  
    • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 50 questions, 45 minutes
  3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT): This is a descriptive test of 30 minutes duration in English or Hindi.
  4. Final Credit: Candidates who qualify in all the above stages will be shortlisted for final credit based on their performance in the Main Exam and LPT.
